Our Goldens

Piper Joy Davies

AKC Registration: SS08511505

CHIC Certification: 184753

Piper is our sweet golden momma. She is a beautiful red American Golden Retriever. Her pedigree includes the Rockerin line of field dogs who have competed in Field Trials, Hunt Tests, Agility, and more.

Piper was born in Bandera, Texas on November 8, 2018. She has a playful, friendly personality and that well-known sweet "golden" temperament. Her coat is exceptionally soft with lovely rich dark golden tones. The only thing she loves more than cuddling is to trick you into playing ball with her. And with Piper, there is no bad time to play ball. Sun, rain, snow, and even in thunderstorms - she is always ready to give you the ball so you will throw it just one more time.

Piper passed all DNA checks with the OFA and also received the rating of "Excellent" on her hips from the OFA. Only about 8% of all OFA hip x-rays on Golden Retrievers receive a score of excellent.

Our dogs are our family pets. We are intentional in allowing Piper to recover after each litter (meaning we skip breeding her the heat after she has produced a litter). This means we usually only have one litter per year available to go to new homes. If you are interested in one of our puppies, we encourage you to fill in the application to get on our waiting list.

RETIRED. After testing his hips twice with the OFA, we've made the decision to retire Polaris from our program. While one hip passed, the other hip came back both times with a mild dysplasia grade. In layman’s terms this means he’s a perfectly fine pet, but should not be used as breeding stock.

In meeting with our vet and discussing options she mentioned that some breeders do continue to breed with a dog like Polaris as long as the female has excellent hips (like Piper), but we weren’t at peace with doing that as we move forward, so in January, 2024 we had him neutered.

We love this boy so much, but since he is "retired" we are looking for a home for him. We are in no rush for this rehoming to take place. He is our pet and we are happy to keep him until the ideal home presents itself.

An ideal rehoming environment for his temperament will have another dog and an active, yet low stress atmosphere. There will be a rehoming fee to ensure the new family has a vested interest in his well-being.

If you or someone you know may be interested, please fill out the puppy application on our website and in the comments please mention that you are interested in Polaris.

Polaris has an amazing pedigree and is a handsome purebred "English Cream" Golden Retriever. He comes from a long line of European Championship Show Dogs, but what we love most about him is his sweet and goofy personality.

Polaris was born May 6, 2021. His sire, "Sampson," was imported from Europe where three of his litter mates are champion show dogs. One of Sampson's littermates won Best Puppy of Show at the World Dog Show in Germany in 2017. His dam, "Riley," is half European and half American Golden Retriever. Riley has an elite pedigree, boasting three World Champions in her five-generation pedigree.

Oakley (left) is our young spunky red-headed girl. Like her momma (right), she is a beautiful red American Golden Retriever. Her pedigree includes a wonderful variety of titled field dogs who have competed in Field Trials, Hunt Tests, Agility, and more.

Oakley was the first-born in our 2023 litter right here in our home in Brenham, TX. She's still very much a puppy although she is nearly as large as Piper.  Occasionally at a glance we'll even mistake her for her mother. And yes, her coat is exceptionally soft with those lovely rich dark golden tones.

Oakley is scheduled to take all of her DNA panels and OFA tests in 2025 when she turns two years old to determine her viability to continue our program.
